Intrum Justitia AB will hold a Capital Markets Day today for analysts, asset managers, journalists and other business associates.

“We will report some of the most recent achievements of the Group,” says President and CEO Jan Roxendal. “In addition, we see a potential for future growth through a better penetration of non-outsourced markets, expansion of all core services to more countries and an increased focus on the Purchased Debt service line. To summarize: we anticipate that market conditions will remain positive for our industry in 2006.” Kari Kyllönen, Director of Purchased Debt: “Intrum Justitia has over 20 years of experience buying and collecting on portfolios of overdue receivables. We have a skilled team with a large database to support them in pricing and managing receivables. In this way, we can manage the risks in our business. Intrum Justitia is a niche player and our segment of the market, unsecured overdue consumer receivables, is valued at more than 10 billion euros annually.” Intrum Justitia usually purchases small and medium-sized portfolios of overdue receivables of small average amounts. For large acquisitions, the Group has established partnerships with Calyon and Goldman Sachs. Regional Managing Director Marcel van Es, the action program for Intrum Justitia’s UK operations started in the first quarter of 2006 and is continuing according to plan. One result is a reduction of around 80 employees in 2006. “We expect to cut costs by about SEK 33 million on an annual basis from 2007. The British credit management market is often described as one of the most competitive, but I am convinced we can expand our presence beginning this autumn.” “We want to further increase transparency in the Purchased Debt service line,” says Intrum Justitia CFO Monika Elling. “We plan to provide more extensive guidance on how we report and give an indication of how the service line is developing.” Slides from today’s presentation will be available during the day on the Group’s website, www.intrum.com/investors. Around 60 analysts, investors and journalists are attending Intrum Justitia’s Capital Markets Day in Nacka Strand, together with members of Intrum Justitia’s Group Management Team.
