Irish high court judgment in relation to Legal & Trade Collections (Ireland) Ltd

Intrum Justitia has today received the Irish High Court decision in the proceedings in relation to the contract for Intrum Justitia’s purchase of shares in Legal & Trade Collections (Ireland) Ltd. The court has directed that the vendor, Legal & Trade Financial Services Ltd, pay compensation to Intrum Justitia as a consequence of inaccurate financial information provided by the vendor. The compensation payable will be at least EUR 450,000 plus additional amounts and indemnification to be ascertained. The entity Legal & Trade Collections (Ireland) Ltd will according to the judgment be in the ownership of Intrum Justitia, and is named Intrum Justitia Collections (Ireland) Ltd. Intrum Justitia is currently considering the terms of the Irish court’s decision.
