Disclosure notice Stockholm, May 26, 1999 Investor AB has acquired 17,000,000 A shares in Stora Enso. Simultaneously Investor AB has sold 17,000,000 R shares in the company and Investor AB´s ownership, after the transaction, amounts to 61,991,786 A shares and 15,900,962 R shares, which represent 21.6 percent of the voting rights in the company and 10.3 percent of the share capital. "Our intention is to be a long-term and active owner in the merged Stora Enso. With this transaction, we also show that we believe in the company's future possibilities," says Investor's president and chief executive officer, Marcus Wallenberg. Investor AB´s previous ownership corresponded to 15.8 percent of the voting rights and 10.3 percent of the share capital.
