Investor AB intends to issue new notes and redeem its EUR 2023 Notes
Investor AB (publ) is considering issuing a new series of notes, subject to market conditions, under its EUR 5,000,000,000 Debt Issuance Programme. Subject to the successful pricing and settlement of those notes, Investor AB intends to redeem its outstanding €700,000,000 4.50 per cent. notes due 2023 (ISIN / Common Code: XS0625859516 / 062585951) (the “Notes”) in whole pursuant to Condition 6(d) (the “Call Option”) of the terms and conditions of the Notes (the “Conditions”) set out in Part C of Schedule 2 to the trust deed dated 15 December 2010 (the “Trust Deed”). If the new series of notes is not issued for any reason, Investor AB does not intend to exercise the Call Option, at this time.
Part of the proceeds from the new issue is intended to be used for purchasing the Notes. The rationale of the early redemption and the new issue is thus to proactively manage upcoming debt repayments and to extend the average debt maturity profile of Investor AB.
Please note that further information, which among other things will set out certain important restrictions, regarding the new issue is expected to be made available shortly and will be found on: http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-home.html.
