Investor AB invests in Princeton Optronics, Inc. Investor AB, via its wholly owned subsidiary Investor Growth Capital, is the co-lead investor in the second round of equity financing for Princeton Optronics, Inc. Additional investors are St. Paul Venture Capital and Technology Venture Partners, and existing investors Intel Capital and Novak Biddle Venture Partners. The total financing is $25 million. Princeton Optronics is an innovator in active components for fiber-optic networks. The company has cutting-edge competencies in high-power Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers, Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems and Radio Frequency technologies. The additional infusion of capital will fund the final development stage of Princeton Optronics' PowerSweep 2000, a high-power, broadly tunable laser, along with the continued expansion of its world-class manufacturing facility.
