Investor AB invests in WatchMark Corp., USA

Investor AB invests in WatchMark Corp., USA Investor AB, via its wholly owned subsidiary Investor Growth Capital, and Ericsson Venture Partners, the venture capital fund backed by Swedish telecommunications equipment provider Ericsson, led the Series C financing for WatchMark Corp. Existing institutional investors Pequot Capital, Origin Partners and Lucent New Ventures Group also participated in the round. The total financing is USD 26.6 million. WatchMark, a U.S. company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, is a leader in service-assurance software for wireless telecom service providers and other converged network operators. The company's service- assurance products optimize network capacity, maximize performance quality and reduce operating costs. More than 100 service providers in 30 countries worldwide have licensed WatchMark products.
