Investor publishes Annual report 2024
Today, Investor publishes the Annual report 2024, including the Sustainability report, highlighting the company’s work to drive value creation through relentless focus on Performance, Portfolio and People.
In 2024, Investor’s portfolio companies performed strongly. Investor’s adjusted net asset value grew by 20 percent, well ahead of the SIXRX return index and during the year the portfolio companies delivered on our 2030 target, reducing scope 1 and 2 emissions by 70 percent compared to the base year of 2016.
Chair of the Board Jacob Wallenberg comments in the Annual report on the complex and unpredictable world, where speed and agility are more crucial than ever.
“Recently, I spent a week on the American West Coast. I not only took away that AI development is lightning fast, but was also struck by how incredibly focused and determined people are on putting AI to work. To me, it was yet another example of how important it is to try and walk the extra mile if you want to achieve something that really stands out”, says Jacob Wallenberg.
In his CEO statement, Christian Cederholm writes about Investor’s focus on profitable growth here and now, while simultaneously investing to future-proof the businesses. He also comments on the recent macro development and our portfolio companies’ performance during 2024.
