Investor rejects MAN’s amended bid for Scania

As noted in Investor AB’s Interim Report for January-September 2006, released earlier today, we have a very positive view of Scania and the company’s future prospects. In addition, there are substantial synergies in a combination of Scania and MAN.

Today’s amended bid from MAN does not reflect the value of Scania and the potential synergistic benefits of a combination of the two companies.
