Utilization of transfer authorization in Investor AB to secure costs for the Company’s long-term variable remuneration program

The Annual General Meeting 2011 decided to authorize the Board to decide on the transfer of the Company’s own shares in order to secure costs for Investor’s long-term variable remuneration program. Investor hereby announces that the Company’s Board has decided to utilize the authorization.

The transfer of previously repurchased shares may take place on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm during the period from October 20, 2011 up until and including the Annual General Meeting 2012 at a price within the from time to time registered price interval. Transfers will not be made during the thirty-day periods prior to ordinary quarterly reports and the year-end report respectively, the day of the announcement included.

Investor currently owns 6,669,158 of its own B-shares and the maximum number of shares that may be transferred amounts to 1,185,000 B-shares.
