When the Data Inspection Board today presented the results from the Swedish public authority's audit of how the four payment solutions SEQR, WyWallet, Trustly and Klarna handle personal records, SEQR is the only solution to be approved without remarks. The Data Inspection Board has reviewed what personal data is collected about the users and how this information is used.

- The security and the privacy of our users is key for SEQR and is the basis for our technology. We are glad that this now also has been verified by the Swedish state, says Seamless CEO Peter Fredell.

The technology that SEQR uses ensures that no information about the users end up in the wrong hands. In the report, the Data Inspection Board states that the inspection makes the evaluation that the security used in SEQR fulfils the requirements stated in the Privacy Protection Law.

 - In addition to the technological security it is also important that information about the individuals that use new payment solutions is used in an accurate and transparent way. Therefore, we are very happy that SEQR, as the only one of the four inspected solutions, has been given a stamp of approval that we fulfill the legal obligations when it comes to respecting our users privacy, says Peter Fredell.
