As part of the rapid expansion of Seamless (OMX:SEAM) mobile payment solution SEQR, the company recruits Ingrid Lindström as new executive vice president. Most recently Ingrid held the position as CEO for the mobile payment company WyWallet and has long and substantial experience from leading international companies in the payment industry.

- The payment industry is facing a similar shift in paradigm that the music industry went through where our solution will lead to significant savings for the retail industry. Seamless is well positioned to take a substantial market share and Ingrid Lindström will play a key role in the expansion in Sweden and abroad, says Peter Fredell, CEO of Seamless that provides SEQR.

Ingrid will start her new position on January 7, 2014 and will be a member of the management team. In addition to being the CEO of WyWallet, Ingrid has held management positions at Digital River World Payments, Netgiro, Payzone Nordic (previously Alphyra Nordic AB).

- Mobile payments are here to stay and to be part of the team of the most complete solution on the market is very exciting. The fact that SEQR has created clear benefits for merchants through the decrease in transaction fees and a smooth and free integration, is something I view at the biggest success factor. I embrace the challenge to further develop and expand SEQR to the world, says Ingrid Lindström.

Seamless has grown extensively the last year; net sales increased by 64% and the number of employees has gone from 64 to more than 170 today. During 2013, SEQR was launched in Romania together with Garanti Bank with more than 400 retailers signed up. During the spring of 2014, SEQR will be launched in Belgium together with bpost bank and McDonald's in Belgium.

Seamless current vice president and CFO, Daniel Hilmgård will continue to hold the position as vice president until Ingrid Lindström assumes the positions. After that he will have an increased focus on the growing Seamless group globally in his role as CFO.
