SEQR launches new app for Windows Phone 8
Today SEQR launches a new app in Sweden developed specifically for Windows-based smartphones. The app offers a range of functions including making payments in stores, at restaurants and online, send money and redeem offers. Seamless is behind the design and app-development.
- Our goal is to make SEQR available for everyone, regardless of operating system, and the demand from Windows users has been great. We continuously invest in developing our solution and updating SEQR with new functionalities and we have designed SEQR to give Windows Phone users the best possible experience, says Seamless CEO Peter Fredell.
SEQR for Windows has been developed for three markets and was launched in Finland on May 27th. The first version for Windows Phone is now available for download in Sweden and contains the same functionalities as for iPhone and Android, and similar to the other apps is under constant development — to offer the best functionality and user experience.
Next step in the partnership with Microsoft is the integration of SEQR for the Wallet in Windows Phone.

- pay for parking
- connect merchants' loyalty programs
- redeem unique offers
- store receipts
- send money at no cost only using phone numbers
