Inwido’s two business units, Sidey Solutions and Walker Profiles, have secured prestigious contracts with North Lanarkshire Council in Scotland, UK, encompassing the manufacture, supply and installation of sustainble windows and doors. Both contracts are initially worth £22.5 million over two years, starting end of January 2025. North Lanarkshire Council have the right to extend the contracts by 2 x 12 month periods, resulting in a total order value of £45 million over four years.

Sidey Solutions and Walker Profiles, the market leaders in social housing refurbishment in Scotland, were acquired by Inwido in July 2023. The two contracts they have now been awarded are the largest in Inwido’s as well as the two companies' history and include the replacement of windows and doors within approx. 7,250 properties during a four-year period.

"These two contracts are strong proof of the market leading position that our businesses in Scotland hold," says Fredrik Meuller, President and CEO of Inwido, and continues: "Both Sidey Solutions and Walker Profiles win these prominent contracts not only because of their high delivery ability, but also because they have a product range that meets the high requirements regarding energy efficiency that exist in Scotland. That they, and thus we, become an active part of the solution for Scotland to reach its goal of net-zero emissions of greenhouse gases by 2045 feels important and comforting considering the transformation journey that European countries are now embarking on.”
