Inzile receives follow-up order from Tier Mobility

Inzile has received a follow-up order of 10 electric trucks from the electric scooter company Tier Mobility.

In June, Inzile delivered the first electric truck to Tier Mobility. Prior to that, Inzile and Tier had jointly developed a specially designed solution for handling Tier's electric scooters that are deployed around several cities. Inzile will now deliver 10 electric trucks of model Pro4 in a follow-up order from Tier. Two of the trucks will be delivered in December 2020 and the remaining eight vehicles will be delivered during the first quarter of 2021.

The electric truck can load about 100 replaceable batteries, move scooters that are misplaced and pick up scooters that need to be repaired. All this is carried out with one and the same vehicle, which significantly increases efficiency and reduces the number of runs. During the fall, the new solution was tested by Tier in Uppsala and subsequently evaluated.

It is very satisfying for us that Tier Mobility's tests and evaluation of our first electric truck have turned out well and that they now place a follow-up order of 10 vehicles, says Klas Åhgren, sales and marketing director of Inzile.

- Our tests and evaluations of Inzile's electric truck in Uppsala have strengthened us in our perception that we want to invest in this solution in our business, comments Lukas Samuelsson, Tier’s General Manager of Sweden and Denmark. In addition to reducing emissions linked to charging, we also reduce emissions from production, operation and transport, Lukas Samuelsson continues.

If Inzile's vehicles continue to function well in Tier's operations in Sweden, it will open up additional markets where the electric scooter company is active.

Inzile Pro4 is an electric light truck that has been developed with the aim of creating conditions for smart and fossil-free cities. Electric Utility Vehicle (EUV) is a niche segment in the automotive industry that is expected to grow rapidly in the coming years. The customer groups include real estate companies, transport companies and e-retailers that want to eliminate emissions in the cities, as well as municipalities and park administrations.
