Inzile supplies two more vehicles to Picsmart
Inzile will deliver two more vehicles to Picsmart within the framework agreement signed in December 2019. During 2020 Picsmart has evaluated the first electric truck from Inzile in its operations, which has led to the supplementary order. The first of the two vehicles was delivered yesterday.
Picsmart's business concept is to relaunch the local country store. For this Picsmart has developed a technical platform that simplifies the process for both customers and local retailers. A cornerstone of the company's business concept is that deliveries are fossil-free and that the vehicles used for this are electrically powered.
- It feels important to, together with Inzile's electric vehicles, have the opportunity to be the company that takes lead in the environmental issue linked to, above all, the last mile in daily food trade. Inzile's vehicle has proven to fit our purposes very well and we have therefore ordered two more of the same model, says Christopher Heybroek, CEO of Picsmart.
Inzile's electric truck Pro4 is very well suited for Picsmart's business and strengthens the concept with its unique look. In December 2019 Picsmart therefore signed a framework agreement with Inzile for delivery of a total of 10-28 vehicles. In the next phase, which is now beginning, Picsmart will launch Inzile's vehicles in a number of cities in Sweden where their business will be established.
- It is very rewarding that Picsmart is satisfied with the first electric truck that we delivered in June this year. We look forward to our electric vehicles becoming part of Picsmart’s launch in more cities in Sweden, says Klas Åhgren, sales and marketing director at Inzile.
Inzile Pro4 is an electric light truck that has been developed with the aim of creating conditions for smart and fossil-free cities. Electric Utility Vehicle (EUV) is a niche segment in the automotive industry that is expected to grow rapidly in the coming years. The customer groups include real estate companies, transport companies and e-retailers that want to eliminate emissions in the cities, as well as municipalities and park administrations.
