ipostparcels.com, UK Mail’s online consumer parcel delivery service, has lowered their prices for international delivery over 9 different countries as part of their efforts to become one of the most competitively priced international parcel delivery couriers in the UK.
International delivery prices has reduced by 20% in some of the most shipped to countries; USA, Canada, Mexico, France Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Northern Ireland. Prices are now starting from as little as £9.49, making ipostparcels.com one of the most affordable international delivery companies in the UK.
The price reduction comes as a result of an increase in international delivery within ipostparcels.com and studies show that international trade is also on the rise. According to a recent Forrester Study (Key Trends and Best Practices Selling Globally via the Affiliate Channel) consumers tend to place a higher value on products from another country. A survey of more than 2,500 online shoppers was conducted from various countries across the globe including; USA , France and the UK, reported that 68% of those consumers purchased an item online from a company located outside their home country in the past 12 months.
The latest Internet Retailer survey also shows an increase in international trade with 75% of e-retailers already selling to customers abroad; of the remaining quarter, 70% plan to start doing so within a year.
Guy Buswell, CEO of the UK Mail Group, said, “International ecommerce is rapidly gaining momentum. We want to be able to provide our customers attractive services and prices, so therefore after a review of the market place and with studies showing international trade on the rise, we decided to make substantial price cuts across various countries. With the Christmas period getting closer, we’re offering some of the best-priced international parcel delivery services on the UK market and hope that customers will take advantage of our flexible services whilst saving themselves a bundle.”
ipostparcels.com, launched their international delivery service back in June this year, due to the increase of international online retailing.
