Ireland Craft Beers Ltd set to make Irish craft beer and cider a global brand

The taste of Ireland is coming. Ireland Craft Beers Ltd, new to the market this year, has set out to bring Irish craft beer to the rest of the world. A specialist export, distribution and marketing company, its goal is to put small, traditional, artisan Irish breweries on the global map.

Ireland Craft Beers Ltd was founded by three Irish school friends driven by their love of craft beer and craft beer outlets. The idea came to CEO Shane McCarthy when he was working in New York and found that most Irish bars in the city were limited in their stock to Guinness and a handful of Irish whiskeys. He saw a gap in the market and set out to bring some of Ireland’s highest quality craft beers and ciders to international shores.

“The good thing about the Irish craft beer industry is that each brewery has its own authentic story, unique selling point and reason for brewing beer,” says Shane McCarthy, CEO of Ireland Craft Beers Ltd. “But Ireland is small, so in order for these breweries to flourish and expand they need to export. We want to help local Irish companies find their place in the market.”

Ireland Craft Beers Ltd has already partnered with an array of breweries in Ireland and built an extensive distribution network, which is growing day by day. They are looking to work with craft breweries seeking to expand their reach, and retailers who are keen to bring the taste of Ireland’s finest beers and ciders to the mass market.
