ISG Appointment Further Strengthens Technology Capability
ISG has further strengthened its technology and industrial capability with the appointment of Caroline Batter as head of pre-construction for engineering services. Caroline brings over 20 years of sector expertise to the role and is an influential addition to the team, which most recently secured the £100 + million contract to build a new data centre for Santander in East Midlands.
Caroline, who holds a Masters in Mechanical and Electrical Services, joins ISG from Mace Technology, where she led the contractor’s pre-construction function. Specialising in the delivery of complex mechanical and electrical solutions, Caroline’s extensive industry experience includes projects at Canary Wharf, Heathrow’s Terminal 4, Tate Britain and the new UK production facility for Rolls Royce.
Across the burgeoning data centre sector, Caroline’s credentials include schemes for leading financial institutions as well as cloud providers, such as Telehouse and Telecity. Widely acknowledged as an expert in the field of delivering energy efficient data centres, Caroline has been a guest speaker at the annual Data Center Dynamics conference and Government ICT events. Caroline is also a global judge at the Data Center Dynamics’ Annual Awards.
