ISG Completes Fashionable Fit Out
ISG has completed the fit out of a two-storey interim office and design space for a leading global fashion house, ahead of the completion of its new London headquarters.
The company will be based in the temporary accommodation in EC1 for a year while its permanent London headquarters is constructed next door. ISG’s fit out scheme included elements specifically designed to be re-used in the new offices when the fashion house relocates in 2016.
ISG carried out the fit out across an accelerated three week programme that included all decoration, partitioning, flooring and supplementary lighting for the office areas, design and sewing studio and models’ changing rooms.
Black vinyl sheet flooring has been used to create a clean surface for the design studio and will be stripped out and re-used in the back office areas of the new headquarters. Twin tube supplementary lighting that has been installed above the sewing machines to provide enhanced working light will also be removed and re-used when the fashion brand moves to its permanent location.
The fit out adds to the company’s portfolio of luxury and boutique brands, including Gieves & Hawkes, Paul Smith, Louis Vuitton and Piaget.
James Weekes, divisional director at ISG’s UK Fit Out business, commented: “A minimal timeframe, coupled with the exacting standards demanded for this project, provided a challenging delivery environment ideally suited to our specialist capabilities. Strong collaboration and agile working have been key to the success of this fast-track scheme, providing high-quality accommodation for an iconic global fashion brand.”
