ISG Enhances Learning In Lincolnshire

ISG is set to build on its rapidly expanding track record in Lincolnshire after securing its latest project in the region involving the refurbishment of a learning resources centre on Queen Street, Grimsby for North East Lincolnshire Care Trust Plus.

A new organisation with a remit to commission health and adult social care services, North East Lincolnshire Care Trust Plus is redeveloping an existing centre to provide community learning and skills development for people with learning difficulties to help them access employment. ISG will carry out a 24-week programme that includes an upgrade to both the fabric of the building and its internal layout, providing teaching facilities for office-based skills, hairdressing and cookery/catering.

The project involves improvements to the building’s facade, a new roof covering and replacement external doors and windows. Internally, ISG will be responsible for redistributing the space to create a revised room configuration, including the fitting of new doors, skirting and architraves. The programme also includes provision of toilet facilities, a new reception area and an upgrade to the existing kitchens.
