ISG has helped Cycle Republic launch in the UK, successfully completing the fit out of the specialist bike chain’s first two outlets at Euston Tower and Margaret Street in London.

The Halford’s owned chain has ambitious plans for expansion across the UK and the first two Cycle Republic outlets occupy key locations along major commuter routes in the capital. Designed to provide a one-stop-shop for cycling enthusiasts, the stores stock a wide-range of bikes and accessories, with a workshop providing comprehensive servicing and repairs.

Both the Euston and Margaret Streets outlets have a contemporary urban interior design, with exposed brick walls and an unpainted concrete soffit. Timber elements are used extensively within the design with plywood displays and signage and a recycled timber cash desk key features of the store. Bikes are displayed on floor mounted metal racks and mesh wall hangars with feature LED lighting.

Rob Martin, ISG’s Western regional managing director, commented: “Working closely with Cycle Republic on its store roll out programme has enabled us to bring our delivery expertise and experience into the process at an early stage. Cycle Republic is an ambitious business focusing on areas with a high cycling population and we look forward to supporting the company as it grows its presence on the high street.”
