ISG Takes a Brace of Office Fit Out Schemes for KPMG
ISG has further strengthened its relationship with global professional services firm, KPMG, after securing a further two commercial office fit out projects in Bristol and Glasgow.
These latest wins build on ISG’s successful delivery of new office accommodation for KPMG in Manchester and Leeds, with the contractor also responsible for fitting out the firm’s Canary Wharf headquarters in London, which won a prestigious BCO Best Corporate Workplace award.
The Bristol scheme involves the fit out of 52,000 sq ft of high-specification commercial office space across four floors at the Grade II listed 66 Queen Square - a prestigious redevelopment overlooking the circa six acre garden square in the centre of the city. The project encompasses open plan and cellular office accommodation, and both client and internal meeting rooms.
ISG will create a dedicated staff restaurant on the ground floor and install a dumb waiter system linking the commercial kitchen to level one. A new feature staircase will be constructed in the atrium from ground floor to third floor level, along with the introduction of a link bridge across the atrium.
In Glasgow, ISG will transform levels eight to ten of the city’s newly developed St Vincent Plaza to create stunning new offices for KPMG, delivering 40,000 sq ft of open plan and cellular office space. The scheme involves structural alterations to the building to enable the construction of a new staircase connecting levels nine and ten. Level ten will be fitted out to exacting standards, with a dedicated reception area and a mix of cellular offices and client meeting rooms.
Across levels eight and nine, ISG will deliver a series of flexible theatre-style presentation rooms that can be adapted to suit a range of differing requirements, along with meeting rooms, offices, open plan work spaces and break out areas. The fit out also includes a high specification dining area with commercial kitchen and dumb waiter installation.
