IVISYS AB receives order from GKN for an inspection station to be delivered to the US

IVISYS AB (‘IVISYS’) has received an order for an inspection station from GKN Sinter Metals in the US, a part of GKN Global, which is a global supplier to the automotive sector, with more than 150 factories worldwide and more than 58.000 employees. The order concerns an integrated vision system and an inspection station for flaw detection. The order value is above 75.000 EUR and will be delivered in Q3 of 2017 and the total order value is expected to impact the Q3 results. The value of the order might increase during finalization of the order specifications.

The order is for a customized solution for GKN, based on the IVISYS Advanced Conveyor Inspection Station; however, with an extended cabinet and more inspection points. It will perform thousands of inspections on a daily basis.
