Daniel Johannesson appointed Chairman of Carmen Systems Board Carmen Systems AB announces that Daniel Johannesson, Executive Vice President of Skanska AB, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of Carmen Systems. Daniel Johannesson has had a broad experience in senior management positions and was the former CEO of Industriförvaltnings AB Kinnevik from 1983 - 1992. Amongst other companies, he has also been CEO of Telenordia AB and Telenor Bedrift A/S, and was Director General of SJ (Swedish Railways) from 1998-2001. "Carmen is a world leader in resource optimization processes and software for airlines and railways. To master this field lies at the absolute core of every transport company. Carmen is a very interesting company with a great future and I look forward to working with the Board and the management to fulfill this potential," says Mr Johannesson. Despite the decline in the Aviation industry, Carmen Systems achieved an outstanding performance in 2001 with a 53% increase in revenue. Total sales reached SEK125.7 million.
