Jetshop acquires fast-growing Keycrunch

Jetshop, the Nordic region’s largest e-commerce system provider, continues to invest in online advertising technology and acquires the remaining shares of the software company Keycrunch AB. The acquisition also marks the beginning of an increased international expansion pace of Jetshop’s offerings within online advertising.

- Our software solution for automating advertising on Google has been well-received by customers globally. This acquisition enables us to increase our international growth rate, says Alan Zabihi, co-founder and CEO at Keycrunch AB.

The global demand for software solutions for online advertising is larger than ever before. Online merchants are realizing the value of solutions that simplifies, automates and improves their advertising. Keycrunch latest offering enables merchants to easily get more customers to their online store through Google Shopping, Google’s new advertising solution for e-commerce.

- We invested in Keycrunch early on and have since been impressed by the company’s remarkable growth and ability to develop cutting edge software for advertising on channels such as Google AdWords and Google Shopping. Furthermore, this acquisition creates synergy with our current platform for Retargeting, says Christian Zanders, CEO of Jethop.

The acquisition is the starting point of an internation expansion of Jetshop’s business unit Jetshop AdTech, with sights set on a stronger partner network in Europe.

- Most of our customers today are based in Sweden, but our efforts to build a global partner network has already begun to attract customers from other parts of the world. Our short term goal is however to expand our European partner network. In the future, we are looking to expand our offering with support for Facebook, Retargeting and price comparison sites, says Alan Zabihi.
