From today, unemployed locals in the Darlington, Redcar and Middlesbrough areas will benefit from brand new employment centres to help them to prepare and find work. JHP Employability, one of the country’s leading vocational training providers is expanding and recruiting learners onto training courses to help further and secure their careers with the help of government funding. The Centres have created new jobs for tutors, coaches and administrative staff in the local area to assist with the delivery of training programmes; Response to Redundancy, entry to employment, Work Focused Training and various tailored employability courses. A huge drive on reaching local unemployed people in the area will kick off this month, with emphasis on young people unsure of what career route to take, people under threat of or recently made redundant, and the long term unemployed. Existing Centre in Darlington, has undergone extensive refurbishment to its facilities and resources in order to provide a better working service to its client and the local people in the area. The Redcar Centre went fully operational on 8th March and drew in high numbers of unemployed people in the area seeking support. Middlesbrough Centre open from today, aims to provide a base of support and help to reach unemployed people further in the North East. Courses to be offered will include: • CV Workshops and Interview Skills • Fast Track Literacy and Numeracy • Basic IT skills • Help with setting up interviews And much more! Support doesn’t end there. Once clients have been successfully placed into work, their Skills Division; JHP Training, is able to support them to continue developing skills and gain vocational qualifications on-the-job. This package ensures that people progress as far as possible in their careers, and also reduces the risk of facing unemployment or redundancy in the future.
