People in Birmingham in search for work need not look any further as one of UK’s leading training providers, JHP Employability take them out on the town to find work. The JHP Employability centre in Birmingham, will be holding a ‘Jobs Day’ on Friday 23rd April open to anyone in search of work and in need of support in the job hunt process. The open day is designed to help unemployed people to drop in at their convenience on this day and receive the relevant advice and training opportunities to start and progress their career. The day will involve a wide range of activities and options for all including, free, quick basic skills assessments, informal/practise interviews and tips, fresh new vacancies launched by local employers, employers on-hand to talk about working at their companies and companies such as Learn Direct and Shaw Trust to offer short specialised training courses. Visitors can choose to benefit from a unique and fun experience of going out on the town with experienced, trained professionals to approach employers with live vacancies and learn how to approach them and sell themselves as an ideal candidate with confidence – what more training could one ask for? As part of government initiative, the Centre’s holding open days deliver fully funded, supportive programmes such as Response to Redundancy, Entry to Employment, Not in Employment or Education or Training and Flexible New Deal. All of which help unemployed individuals of any background to become job –ready. So far, JHP Employability have helped over 300,000 individuals in to work and constantly striving to support today’s people out of the recent poor economic climate resulting in unemployment.
