The rising number of people facing redundancy or currently unemployed means that most of the people have never faced this situation before and maybe unsure of where to find support and guidance. JHP Employability, a division of JHP Group, and one of the largest and most successful vocational training providers in the UK have launched a government funded programme designed to help people affected by the recession. JHP Employability is the dedicated Welfare to Work division of JHP Group who has worked with over 300,000 individuals and 25,000 companies to improve skills, raise aspirations and develop opportunities within local communities through a national support network. The Response to Redundancy (R2R) programme offers advice and action planning to individuals who are unemployed or facing redundancy to give them the best chance of securing alternative employment in a highly competitive job market. The programme is driven by the needs of the local community and the employment opportunities available and supports individuals to brush up their existing skills to find employment or retrain to find a job within a new industry.
