DHL moves to JM's Norra Brunnsviken property in Solna JM AB has signed a lease with the transport and logistics company DHL for JM's Norra Brunnsviken property. The lease, which is for five years and a rental value of approximately SEK 90 m, covers roughly 2/3 of the building, corresponding to approximately 7,400 sq.m. DHL is expected to move in during the first quarter of 2004. "Norra Brunnsviken will be the name of our Nordic office and a showcase for the new DHL, the leading logistics company in the Nordic region, with a broad product offering, high degree of service and unique environmental know-how. We are looking forward to our move to an airy office environment that enables natural meetings between employees in an inspiring and sustainable environment," says Bill A. Blomquist, CEO of DHL Express Nordic. The new DHL, which was formed after the merger of DHL, Danzas and Deutsche Post Euro Express, has conducted a thorough analysis of the real estate market to find the right location for its new Nordic office. Of 42 original candidates, Norra Brunnsviken was the property that best met DHL's specification of requirements. "We are very happy that DHL, after its extensive and careful search for a new Nordic office, has chosen our Norra Brunnsviken project," comments Per Johansson, head of Product Development at JM Commercial. "The strategic location on the northern fringe of Stockholm, with good transportation options and the opportunity to create their own 'DHL building,' were the strongest arguments in our favour." Norra Brunnsviken is situated on the E18 motorway between Järva krog and Bergshamra in Solna. The building has five storeys and total area of 12,000 sq.m. The northern façade faces the E18, giving tenants the opportunity to expose their brand to the some 55,000 cars that pass by every day. The southern side, with entrances and visitors' parking, faces the Brunnsviken bay and the Brunnsviken national city park.
