Fourth phase at Smekalles äng in Kungsbacka

JM is now starting construction of 27 single-family homes in the fourth and final phase of JM’s Smekalles Äng area in central Kungsbacka. The total area will comprise 91 tenant-owned units with approximately 180 residents when the area is completed. Of JM’s various projects in Kungsbacka, this is the largest area so far. “We have developed residential units for two years in this area. Sales are going well and there is still considerable interest,” says Ulrika Davidsson, project manager for Smekalles Äng. The final phase comprises four different free-standing houses on one and two floors where each house has its own garden. Floor space in the houses varies between 100 and 126 sq.m. The houses are built in the functional style and the area will have a neighbourhood feeling with shares green spaces in the centre of each block. Smekalles Äng has a central location within walking distance from schools, the countryside and the sea.
