JM Acquires 70 Building Rights in Täby, Stockholm

JM has already acquired 67 building rights in one of the planned residential blocks at Attundafältet in Täby Center. Now JM acquires another 70 building rights within the area. The acquisition was preceded by a land use competition in the area. The purchase price is SEK 59 m. Access and payment will take place in conjunction with approval of the local plan and once the land parcelling has gained legal force, which is expected in spring 2009. Construction start is planned for 2011.

The local plan proposal for all of Täby Center includes a total of 870 residential units, a new central square with room for activities, 14,000 m2 of office space and 26,000 m2 for new shops, as well as 1,400 more parking spaces and a new bus terminal.
