JM has previously signed an agreement with Kungsleden AB for the acquisition of property for the development of approximately 400 residential units centrally located in Västerås. The acquisition amounts to approximately SEK 120 million, with occupancy and payment in Q2 2022.

The property Västerås Isolatorn 12 has a detailed plan that has gained final approval and allows the development of approximately 400 residential units and potentially a preschool. This acquisition gives JM access to an attractive development area in Emaus, Västerås. The transaction will be reported within the JM Residential Sweden business segment in Q2 2022.

“The property has an attractive location close to services and public transportation and is walking distance to the city center. As a long-term housing developer in Västerås, JM is pleased to continue the development of this interesting area,” says Per Johansson, regional manager of JM Residential Sweden, East Region.
