JM is acquiring a property in Pasila, near city center of Helsinki. Occupancy and payment will take place in Q2, 2021. The acquisition is worth approximately SEK 160 million. The property’s detailed plan, which is expected to gain legal force in 2021, enables the development of approximately 300 residential units.

The transaction will be reported in Q2 2021 under the JM International business segment. The acquired property is located in Pasila, a logistics hub near the city center of Helsinki with excellent connections to the rest of the country, including rail access to Helsinki International Airport.

“We will see a significant increase in both the number of inhabitants and jobs in the area that may become the new central Helsinki,” says Markus Heino, President of JM Finland.

JM is certifying all new residential units in Finland, Sweden and Norway in accordance with the Swan Ecolabel. JM is thus the first Nordic construction company to certify its entire production of residential units in accordance with the Swan Ecolabel.
