JM at Bo01: Eco-friendly homes for generations to come The keywords for JM's homes at Bo01 are quality of life, beauty and functionality - homes worthy of being passed on to future generations. At Bo01, JM showcases two residential communities where the vision has been to effectively unite functionality and aesthetics. All of the homes have a distinctive environmental profile and are deliberately adapted for both older and younger residents. Here you will find the exhibition's only senior housing, located on a unique waterfront site facing Öresund. The guiding principles for the Havslunden and Vitruvius communities are carefree, comfortable and attractive housing. Havslunden consists of one multi-family dwelling containing 15 tenant-owner units and five freehold courtyard buildings. Vitruvius, located on the shore of Öresund, consists of one multi-family dwelling with 14 tenant-owner units for seniors over 55 and three freehold townhouses. Balconies, terraces and patios provide immediate contact with the surrounding area. The heart of each residential community is a village garden. The prize- winning landscape architect Simon Irvine has designed the garden at Havslunden and John Taylor, palace gardener at Malmöhus Manor, is the creator of the Vitruvius garden. "One central aspect has been the overall objective to build ecologically sustainable communities, homes we can pass on to coming generations with a clear conscience. And thanks to the materials used, they will only become more beautiful with time", says Christian Dahlman, Project Manager for JM Region South. He continues: "Our aim has been to develop the features our customers want; concepts and products such as a waste disposal in the kitchen or a local intranet." JM AB is a public limited company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange and is Sweden's leading residential developer. The company has around 2,200 employees in Sweden, Norway and Denmark and annual turnover of approximately SEK 7 billion. The company's core business is project development of residential and commercial properties in central areas of growth markets. JM's operations are characterized by a focus on quality and the environment. In one of Havslunden's courtyard buildings, technical and architectonic solutions have been further refined in the terrace home "Everyday Luxury". In choosing architects and designers, JM has prioritized partners with a reputation for excellence or a track record of widely recognized projects. Examples of these are the architects behind the Vitruvius community, who designed the ambassador's residence in Berlin, or the Vitruvius Townhouses, the only entry in Bo01's interior design competition to be realized in full scale.
