JM Construction has signed an agreement with Riksbyggen to construct 49 residential units, a preschool and a parking garage through a turnkey contract. Construction start-up is planned for Q2 2017, and the contract will be completed at the end of 2018. The total contract amounts to approximately SEK 160m, which will be evenly distributed across the term of the agreement.

The contract comprises new construction of 49 residential units that will satisfy the requirements for the Gold level in the Swedish Green Building Council's classification system. It also includes a preschool comprising 600 square meters that will be located inside the property and a parking garage under the building.

Reaching the Gold level in the Swedish Green Building Council's classification system means, among other things, that the property will have low energy consumption. In this case, the property will be equipped with both solar panels on the roof and geothermal heating.

“Launching this first-rate project for Riksbyggen is very gratifying. I am very much looking forward to watching Djurgårdsvyn emerge,” says Peter Neuberg, president of JM Construction.
