JM Construction doing site and engineering work at Stockholm Norvik Port in Nynäshamn
Ports of Stockholm has entrusted JM Construction with conducting extensive site and engineering work for the new container port in Nynäshamn.
The construction contract is expected to get underway in Q1 2018, and be completed by the end of 2020.
JM Construction will carry out water and sewage work, shaft and backfill work and extensive surface work (asphalting and paving) for the future container port.
“We are very proud and pleased to have been chosen by Ports of Stockholm to help develop Stockholm Norvik Port in Nynäshamn. The project comprises large areas, and we will have the opportunity to demonstrate our expertise within site work and conduit installations,” says Regional Manager Christian Benfatto, JM Construction.
The contract amounts to just over SEK 360m, evenly distributed across the term of the contract.
