JM purchases property in central Lund

JM purchases the two properties Lunds Södra 1 and Lunds Södra 2 in Central Lund located in the south of Sweden. JM is also the owner of the neighbouring property Lunds Södra 3.

The properties are located in a central district known as “Margretedalsområdet”. The Lund City Building Office has drawn the programme for a detailed plan covering this area. The purpose of the programme is to transform the area into a modern and attractive district with a central location.

JM is planning to develop three residential quarters with a total of 140 – 180 dwellings in this particular area, with the beginning of construction scheduled for 2009.

“The purchase of one of the most attractive housing areas in Lund consolidates the leading position of JM as developer of dwellings in Lund,” says Jonas Håkansson, Regional Manager for JM.
