JM sells Byggledaren 1 property to Svenska Bostäder JM AB is selling Byggledaren 1 on Liljeholmskajen in Stockholm. Production of 134 apartments is in progress in the property. The sale includes completion of the project by September 2004. The sale will have no earnings impact in 2003. "Once it is fully developed Liljeholmskajen/Årstadal will contain some 2,500 residential units. We are in favour of the new district having a mix of owned and rented homes," says Zdravko Markovski, head of the JM Residential Stockholm business unit. The talks with Svenska Bostäder concerning Liljeholmskajen included the possibility of continued co-operation between the companies in other areas. The basis for such co-operation is to achieve an attractive mix of rental and tenant-owned apartments in different projects.
