First Female Chairman in Organization’s Twenty-Year History

The Texas Business Leadership Council (TBLC) today announced Gay Gaddis as the incoming Chairman for the organization. Gaddis, CEO and Founder of T3 – the largest woman-owned independent advertising agency in the country – will lead TBLC’s efforts from Austin.

As the sixth Chairman in TBLC’s 20-year history, Gaddis will direct and implement strategic organizational objectives and policy priorities. Prior to this appointment, Gaddis served as the TBLC’s Vice Chairman.

“Having Gay Gaddis as our Chairman is a tremendous asset for the TBLC. Gay’s passion and vision for the future of Texas will bring tremendous value to the TBLC and, as such, the state of Texas,” said outgoing TBLC Chairman Jodie L. Jiles.

In addition to her leadership with TBLC, Gaddis is an active spokesperson and writer with regular contributions to Forbes and Bloomberg Television. She has received numerous awards and honors including Fast Company’s “Top 25 Women Business Builders,” Inc. Magazine’s “Top 10 Entrepreneurs of the Year,” and was most recently named EY’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” for the Central Texas region. Further, Gaddis sits on the board of publicly-traded, Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc. and is the Chairman of C200, a top women’s business organization founded with the purpose of advancing women’s leadership in business.
