June 2, 2010 - Milford, Massachusetts – Jennifer Vecchi, Manager of Incentives & Recognition Programs at Atlas Meetings + Incentives, has successfully completed the coursework and examinations required by Recognition Professionals International (RPI) to receive the designation of Certified Recognition Professional (CRP).

Ms. Vecchi has spent the last three years developing incentive and recognition programs for Atlas Travel International’s diverse client list and developed group incentive programs for eight years before joining Atlas. This new designation will further enhance the programs that she is currently working on and will enable her to add new capabilities to the long list of services that Atlas Meetings + Incentives already provides.

“The knowledge I have accumulated in achieving this designation means I will be able to provide even greater services to my customers,” said Ms. Vecchi.  “It’s also like getting a stamp of approval on the work we’ve already been doing at Atlas Meetings + Incentives.”

The CRP designation represents a very noteworthy professional achievement. Becoming certified requires the candidate to successfully complete four full-day courses and pass all exams. These courses cover all aspects of recognition practices: strategic planning, implementation, effective communication, and ongoing review and ROI measurement.  The training, in particular, emphasizes best practices and measurable benefits to clients.

“We have always had a standard at Atlas of continuing education and development for our employees,” said Atlas Travel International’s CEO, Elaine Osgood.  “This designation is not only a recognition of the hard work Jennifer has put in, but also represents something unique and special for our customers.  They can now be sure that they are receiving quality services and assistance.”

RPI is at the forefront of workforce recognition. Endorsed by top authorities in the industry, its sole focus is on recognition innovations and education as a systematic method for improvements in the workplace. RPI has an impressive membership of Fortune 500 organizations, and is the only association offering Certified Recognition Professional (CRP) certification program.
