Kährs and modulyss to showcase combinations of flooring solutions at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair
Kährs, a leading manufacturer and distributor of flooring, will participate at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair together with its partner modulyss, a Belgian carpet tile manufacturer. Both brands will showcase how different flooring materials can be combined to create unique flooring solutions and surroundings that at the same time perform to the highest standard of quality. Kährs will be present at the fair on February 4-8, joined also by representatives from the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and BIMobject.
Kährs offers a wide range of high-quality flooring products for both retail and commercial use, ranging from pioneering wood solutions, PVC free flooring solutions and Luxury Tiles products – along with carpet tiles under the modulyss brand. The assortment provides customers with endless opportunities to combine products of various materials, in order to create beautiful and unique flooring experiences with a sustainable approach to environment and health. At the Stockholm fair, Kährs will showcase the latest product offerings in various materials, aimed for interiors where demands on quality and design is of primary importance.
“This year’s theme is called Mix & Match. Our booth will display three striking boxes, each presenting a colour trend, compiled in cooperation with our partner modulyss. The aim is to provide inspiration on endless flooring combinations through Kährs broad product range. We want to show how a blend of different flooring types can be used to create unique and tailormade flooring solutions that go beyond expectations”, said Charlotta Persfell, Chief Marketing Officer at Kährs.
In early 2019, Kährs Group and the Belgium based company modulyss entered into a partnership allowing for Kährs Group to sell modulyss carpet tiles in Sweden, Norway and Finland. This means that Kährs today is a full range supplier of hard and soft flooring options on commercial projects.

Visitors will also have the chance to interact with a representative from the Nordic Swan Ecolabel at Kährs booth on February 4th and 6th between 10.00 and 12.00 CET to learn more about their work and the process of receiving certification. Today, Kährs has more than 180 of its wood floors eco-labelled. An eco-labelled wood flooring product means that it is durable, easy to care for and contribute to a healthy indoor environment. The surface treatments used contain no chemicals that are harmful to environment or health.
Since 2018, Kährs has been providing BIM objects for the A&D community. At this years’ fair in Stockholm, a representative from BIMobject® will also be present at Kährs booth to showcase the usage of BIM modelling and to answer questions related to BIM.
