Kährs shapes its commercial organisation further to ensure customer focus and strategic execution
Kährs, a leading Swedish manufacturer and distributor of flooring with a solid and proven business platform is now reshaping and strengthening its organisation to continue its growth journey. The company sees great potential for profitable growth in its two strong business segments, Residential and Commercial. To secure an even greater customer focus, Kährs is now reshaping its commercial team while also welcoming a new colleague, Johan Lundgren, who has been appointed new CCO Nordics for Kährs.
Residential flooring is Kährs core segment, but the company also holds a strong position in the Commercial segment, niched towards flooring for the healthcare & education sector but also offering complete solutions for commercial buildings, an area with growth potential, especially in the Nordics.
Kährs organisation is now being adjusted to better reflect the company’s business model with focus on these two segments and with four distinct market areas in the Residential Segment, Nordics, West & South Europe, North America and Emerging markets, including Russia.
We are pleased to announce that Johan Lundgren has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for Kährs Residential segment in the Nordics. Johan is joining Kährs 1 September 2021 and he comes from a position as Commercial Director at Akzo Nobel in the Nordics and has previous experience in senior sales and marketing roles from Dell and Mintel.

Besides his solid background driving sales excellence and digitalization throughout the value chain, he will bring important experience to Kährs in the transformation of sales into new ways to attract end-users and our customers”, said Johan Magnusson, President & CEO, Kährs.
As CCO Nordics, Johan Lundgren will be member of Kährs Group’s Management, as will also Andreas Berge, today responsible for Kährs' project sales, who has been appointed CCO Commercial; Sean Brennan, today responsible for Kährs’ retail sales in the US, who has been appointed CCO Residential North America; Robert Bieger, today responsible for Kährs' retail business in the DACH region, who has been appointed CCO Residential West & South Europe and Alexei Pechorin who will continue to drive sales in Emerging markets and Russia as CCO for Residential Emerging Markets.
Fredrik Alfredsson, today CCO Retail, has decided to leave for a new position outside Kährs after more than 25 years of successful service in various positions.
All changes will take effect on September 1st 2021.
