Heating technology provider Kanthal announces that it has notified customers globally of a price increase, effective June 7, 2021. The increase is a result of higher costs related to raw material, logistics and personnel and will vary by products and regions in the range of 4% to 10%.

"Rising prices on raw material and a recovery of the global economy are driving the inflationary pressures in our industry,” said Anders Björklund, President, Kanthal. “We are working continuously to optimize our cost structure and make our operations more efficient, but it’s also necessary for us to adjust prices to ensure that we can maintain and improve product innovation and service expertise that are delivering value to our customers.”
