C-Quadrat Investment Group explores the launch of a nordic venture capital fund in collaboration with Katalysen Ventures
C-Quadrat Investment Group (“C-Quadrat”) is in collaboration with Katalysen Ventures AB (publ) (“Katalysen”) presently exploring the set up of an early-stage, Nordic-focused venture capital fund, targeting an initial €30 million first close in Q4 2023.
The prospective fund aims to capitalize on C-Quadrat's recognized expertise in fund operations combined with Katalysen Ventures' extensive experience and network within the Nordic early-stage and startup ecosystem.
“We at C-Quadrat Investment Group are excited to explore with Katalysen Ventures the investor interest in creating a venture capital fund centered on the vibrant and rapidly evolving Nordic startup sector," said Cristobal Mendez de Vigo, Group Managing Director of C-Quadrat Investment Group.
Heiner Weber, Chairman of Katalysen Ventures, added: "Our role as venture developers places us in a unique position to support startups by offering them specialist knowledge and experience. In turn, we accumulate extensive insights about the sector, its key players, and stakeholders. This new fund will profit from Katalysen’s market intelligence, market access and from the setting up and vetting of the investment team."
