Kawasaki continues their expansion with MAPAS
Global Manufacturer Kawasaki are continuing to widen their Engine & Power Products Distributor network with the appointment of MAPAS Hirdavatcilik Ithalat ve Pazarlama A.S. in Turkey.
Established in 1980, their interest in Kawasaki began after supplying Power Products fitted with Kawasaki Engines. Already impressed by the existing Kawasaki Engine range, when MAPAS read about the next generation of 2 and 4-stroke Engines, they knew that becoming the Kawasaki Engine & Power Products Distributor for Turkey would be beneficial to their business. Managing Director and owner of MAPAS, Victor Mori, commented, “Kawasaki has a very strong brand image in Turkey both in 2 and 4-stroke engines and we already have some applications in mind for their new engines.”
European Business Development Manager for Kawasaki, Olga Polevaia, added, “The comprehensive knowledge and experience MAPAS brings of the Turkish grounds-care market together with their imminent plans for expansion, meant they stood out amongst other possible partners.” The plans for MAPAS include moving to a new 4,500sq mt warehouse and 600sq mt offices. The new facilities will significantly improve delivery times and general service to their network of Dealers and new positions in Purchasing and Sales will be created.
