Kinetic Survey meets strict U.S. Army and Department of Defense standards for security, compatibility and sustainability.

TAMPA, Fla.—Aug. 23, 2011—Kinetic Data (http://www.kineticdata.com), provider of third-party business service management (BSM) tools built on the BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System platform, today announced that its survey management tool, Kinetic Survey, has been awarded a U.S. Army Certificate of Networthiness (CoN). The company will be spotlighting Kinetic Survey—along with Kinetic Request, Kinetic Task, Kinetic Calendar and Kinetic Schedule—at LandWarNet 2011, the largest defense, communications and information technology event in the Southeast, in booth 648 through Aug. 25.

Kinetic Survey is a web-based survey management application built on BMC Remedy.

Its enterprise feedback management (EFM) capabilities use rules-based automation to determine which action triggers a survey, who receives it, and how often each individual can be surveyed. Organizations use EFM to systematically gather and analyze customer experiences to monitor and improve service delivery management.

CoN certification affirms that Kinetic Survey meets strict U.S. Army and Department of Defense (DoD) standards for security, compatibility and sustainability. A CoN is required for all enterprise software products in the Army Enterprise Infrastructure Network. The certification also applies to all National Guard, Army Reserve and DoD organizations that use the Army Enterprise Infrastructure Network.

“We’ve been committed for many years to developing tools that make the most efficient use of data in a BMC Remedy environment,” stated John Sundberg, president of Kinetic Data. “The CoN certification is a great validation of that commitment.”

Kinetic Data and its products have been authorized by the U.S. federal government in the past. Kinetic Data was awarded a United States General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 contract, number GS-35F-0554T, in 2007. The contract authorizes Kinetic Data to provide software products, support, training and consulting services to the U.S. federal government.

Kinetic Calendar software received DADMS validation (ID #55507) in October 2009. DADMS—Department of the Navy (DoN) Application and Database Management System—is a registry of official Navy and Marine Corps IT systems and applications allowed to go onboard a Navy ship.
