MobileIron AppConnect provides heightened security and new configuration options to mobile case prep app for attorneys

kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, today announced new configuration options with MobileIron, the leader in enterprise mobile security, for Relativity Binders.

Binders is a mobile application designed for attorneys who need quick and secure access to case documents, allowing them to organize, take notes on, and prepare important documents both on and offline. Binders also syncs with your secure Relativity instance, so users can back up annotations and pull down new documents instantly.

By integrating Binders with MobileIron AppConnect, you can deploy Binders at the enterprise level with additional controls for securing and managing corporate data. Administrators can remotely wipe data or retire the entire application. Additional configurations include the ability to lock down copy and paste, as well as prepopulate login information, on the user level.

“Integrating Binders with MobileIron provides a heightened level of security and control for extremely important case data,” said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. “We’re excited that this integration will give our customers the added security they need to roll out Binders enterprise-wide.”

MobileIron provides their AppConnect technology to third-party mobile app developers. With MobileIron AppConnect apps, companies can provide apps that have been enabled with auto-configuration, data containerization, and secure tunneling to protect corporate data.

“Mobile technology is changing the way people work and the legal industry is no exception.,” said John Spencer, VP of Ecosystem, MobileIron. “Relativity Binders is an important addition to our AppConnect ecosystem. With kCura and MobileIron, our legal customers now have an advanced security solution that keeps legal secure throughout the e-discovery lifecycle.”

Relativity Binders is available for download on the App Store.
