Karlskoga, 23 August 2022 – KebNi AB (publ) and Solideq Group AB today announces their Letter of Intent to productify, industrialize, produce and offer high-tech personal safety solutions for the global scaffolding market.

Kebni has previously publicized the development of a technical core for this need, based on Kebni’s inertial sensing expertise. The safety solution senses and analyses barely noticeable vibrations and movements on the scaffolding. Its sensor fusion technology processes the sensor data with artificial intelligence, providing accurate monitoring and alerts in real time. Monitoring proceeds until the scaffolding is dismantled.

Solideq is an international actor in the scaffolding industry. They bring knowledge and market expertise to boost both reach and impact among potential clients.

“This partnership makes perfect sense as both companies are innovative and fast growing, and both companies put personal safety first in our respective industries. We’re now ready to come out as a team and express our objective to jointly address a global issue that hasn’t been solved yet.” – Torbjörn Saxmo, CEO Kebni

The resulting personal safety solution is intended to increase personal safety by lowering the risk for scaffolding related injuries and fatalities. Launch of solutions for both large and small construction sites are scheduled for 2023.

“Solideq’s everyday mission is to provide safe access at height, and I am therefore very excited to announce this new partnership with Kebni. Working together with Kebni using high-level and trusted technology and applying this on a global problem such as scaffolding accidents and safety in general is nothing else than very exciting.” – Tobias Wreje-Larsson, CEO Solideq Group
