Kebni receives 4.1 MSEK order for sensor units tailored for autonomous vehicles

Kebni AB (publ.) receives order regarding a new tailor-made inertial measurement unit for autonomous underground vehicles from a leading mining industry company. The order value is 4.1 MSEK and deliveries are planned for 2023-2024.

Kebni has received an order for inertial measurement units (IMUs) valued 4.1 MSEK from a leading mining industry company. The tailored IMU, NAV02S, is an updated version of its predecessor NAV02. The new product development has been finalized, including successful operational usage of pre-series units. The client company is a recurring customer of Kebni and deliveries are planned for 2023-2024.

Kebni’s inertial sensing units play a key role for navigation and system safety on the customer’s product range of underground vehicles, where they are installed as a key subsystem on every autonomous vehicle.

NAV02S is currently being produced in Kebni’s new production site in Karlskoga, Sweden, alongside other Inertial Sensing solutions.
