JET AIRWAYS’ EXPANDS CONNECTIVITY TO MIDDLE EAST WITH DIRECT DELHI-DOHA SERVICE Jet Airways, India’s premier airline, is further enhancing its Middle East route network with a daily flight to Doha, Qatar, from the Indian capital, Delhi, onboard a Boeing 737-800. Effective 21 January 2010, the daily service from Delhi comes in addition to daily flights from Mumbai and Kochi. The flight is being introduced to meet growing customer demand for a direct service and further augments Jet Airways’ growing Middle East offering. In July and August respectively Jet Airways launched inaugural flights from Mumbai to Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. Jet Airways now flies to eight cities in the Gulf, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Riyadh. Flight 9W 554 will depart Delhi at 1950 hrs, arriving in Doha at 2150 hrs. Flight 9W 553 will then depart Doha at 2250 hrs, arriving in Delhi at 0500 hrs the following morning. JET AIRWAYS INTRODUCES NEW DIRECT DHAKA-MUMBAI FLIGHT Jet Airways has introduced a direct flight from Dhaka to Mumbai, effective 23 December 2009. This is Jet Airways’ third flight from Bangladesh to India, enhancing the existing daily services from Dhaka to Delhi and Kolkata. The Dhaka-Mumbai flight operates 6 days a week (excluding Tuesdays) onboard a Boeing 737-800, increasing to a daily service from 29 March 2010. The new flight will come as a further boost to the busy India-Bangladesh sector, offering seamless connections to several destinations across India as well as North America, Europe, the Gulf and Middle East. Flight 9W 275 will depart Dhaka’s Zia International Airport at 1430 hrs, arriving in Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 1610 hrs. Flight 9W 276 will then depart Mumbai at 0830 hrs, arriving in Dhaka at 1300 hrs. TAKE OFF TO THE DUBAI SHOPPING FESTIVAL WITH JET ESCAPES Jet Airways has introduced two unbeatable holiday packages and an excess baggage waiver for travellers heading from India to the Dubai Shopping Festival between 28 January and 28 February 2010.
